• Mechanical aptitude for application equipment installations and repair.

Job Description:

• We’re looking for a hands-on technician with mechanical aptitude and experience (or strong interest) in PLC programming and troubleshooting. This role involves preventive maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on mechanical and automated systems, including custom-built installations. Extensive on-the-job training will be provided in your first few months.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build, install, and maintain application equipment at customer sites
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and automated systems, including PLC-based equipment
• Monitor and optimize postharvest applications (fungicides, cleaners, coatings) on packing lines
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and ensure proper sanitation practices
• Support product trials, collect field data, and write monitoring reports
• Maintain ongoing communication with customers to ensure product performance and equipment reliability
• Train distributor staff on technical procedures and best practices
• Assist with materials sourcing, BOM development, and technical support
• Travel occasionally; some early morning or evening work required
